Lead Local Operations Manager (Solid Tumor Oncology)

Location: Remote in the United States or Spring House, Pennsylvania, United States; up to 10% travel, including overnight stays and investigator or governance meetings.

Base pay: $109,000–$174,800 per year.

What you will do

• Own US site-level operational delivery for assigned solid tumor oncology trials and programs.
• Lead local trial planning, recruitment strategy, risk management, budget forecasting, and delivery of high-quality data on schedule.
• Coordinate Local Operations Managers and serve as the primary US operational interface to global trial leadership.
• Shape US operational strategy and integrate site insights into global feasibility and startup planning.
• Monitor operational KPIs, identify systemic risks, and resolve complex contracting, operational, and recruitment escalations.
• Represent US local operations in investigator meetings, governance forums, and cross-functional initiatives while mentoring other managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, or a related scientific discipline, or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in clinical trial operations, trial management, site management, or clinical monitoring, including complex or multi-site trials.
• In-depth knowledge of end-to-end clinical trial delivery, including feasibility, startup, enrollment, quality oversight, and closeout.
• Strong knowledge of GCP, regulatory requirements, inspection readiness, compliance management, audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Leadership experience coaching and mentoring local operations or site-facing teams, with the ability to lead through influence and resolve escalations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and the local country language; willingness to travel up to 10% is required.

• Advanced scientific or clinical degree.
• Demonstrated experience in oncology trial operations.
• Experience with site selection, enrollment forecasting, risk mitigation planning, and clinical trial management systems.
