Principal Consultant, Proactive Services, Unit 42 (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote, with role locations listed in São Paulo, Brazil, and Mexico City, Mexico.

What you will do

• Lead Zero Trust transformations and translate complex enterprise security challenges into resilient architectures.
• Manage risk assessments, audits, policy development, and incident response tabletop exercises.
• Advise C-suite executives and technical teams by translating business risks into actionable security plans.
• Build Zero Trust roadmaps across identity, network, endpoint, and cloud domains, including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Assess enterprise architectures for vulnerabilities, hidden trust zones, and visibility gaps; design least-privilege controls.
• Oversee engagement scope, budgets, risk mitigation, client relationships, proposals, intellectual property, and mentoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
• English and Portuguese required; Spanish is an advantage.
• 6+ years of experience leading cybersecurity advisory, risk management, or professional services engagements for enterprise clients.
• Expertise in Zero Trust architectures and frameworks including NIST SP 800-207, the CISA Zero Trust Maturity Model, NIST CSF, CIS, and ISO 27001.
• Experience with information security and risk assessments, GRC tools, SOC and MSSP environments, and executive-level technical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud security architectures across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience assessing AI systems with MITRE ATLAS, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
• Operational Technology cybersecurity experience and familiarity with Prisma Access, NGFW, and Cortex XDR.
• Pre-sales, solution positioning, business growth, and client relationship development experience.
