Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; work from home, client sites, or the Amsterdam office

What you will do

• Design, implement, manage, monitor, and improve security measures for data, applications, systems, and network infrastructures.
• Advise on cybersecurity architecture, technical choices, modeling, proof of concept, integration, operations, hardening, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and violations, including reverse engineering and root cause analysis.
• Prepare security architecture files, security justification files, security plans, and interconnection policies.
• Contribute to cybersecurity offerings, strategy development, business development, and client needs definition.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in a consultancy firm, including cybersecurity projects.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics and the ability to build expertise quickly.
• Knowledge of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and/or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, operating systems, cloud platforms, applications, and cryptography.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills required.
