Senior Cybersecurity Consultant

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work from home, the client, or the Amsterdam office.

What you will do

• Deliver cybersecurity consulting, implementation, and auditing across cyber strategy, risk, compliance, operations, and resilience.
• Manage projects or sub-projects from start to finish, including reporting, delivery validation, and client commitments.
• Build client relationships and act as a cybersecurity expert for middle-management stakeholders.
• Develop CyberLab offers and SaaS solutions, run market benchmarks and proofs of concept, and monitor cybersecurity developments.
• Prepare and deliver certified cybersecurity training, awareness, and coaching sessions.
• Contribute to business proposals, publications, professional events, and the supervision and development of junior and confirmed consultants.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in a consultancy firm, including cybersecurity projects.
• Strong interest in data and AI, with the ability to build expertise quickly.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, operating systems, cloud platforms, applications, and cryptography; blockchain knowledge is a plus.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills are required. Non-Dutch speakers will not be accepted.

• Knowledge of blockchain.
