Senior Consultant in Cybersecurity

Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands; hybrid work from home, client sites, or the Amsterdam office

What you will do

• Design, implement, manage, monitor, and improve cybersecurity measures for data, applications, systems, and network infrastructures.
• Advise on cybersecurity architecture, modeling, proofs of concept, integration, operations, hardening, maintenance, upgrades, and evolution.
• Respond to cybersecurity incidents and violations, including reverse engineering and root cause analysis.
• Prepare security architecture, security justification, security planning, and interconnection policy documentation.
• Contribute to cybersecurity service development, strategy interpretation, business development, and commercial initiatives.

Requirements

• Master's degree in engineering, computer science, statistics, or econometrics.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in a consultancy firm, including cybersecurity projects.
• Strong interest in data and AI-related topics, with the ability to develop expertise quickly.
• Knowledge of one or more of Python, C++, Java, Ruby, Node, Go, and PowerShell.
• Knowledge of IP networks, operating systems, cloud platforms, applications, and cryptography.
• English and Dutch communication and presentation skills required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of blockchain.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
