Senior/Staff Frontend Engineer (Vue.js)

Location: 100% remote; join a home-based team distributed across 10 countries.

Salary: Senior Engineer £75,000–£82,000 per year; Staff Engineer £90,000–£105,000 per year, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Build and release features for customer- and campsite-focused websites using Vue.js.
• Work with product and engineering colleagues to design and develop UI and UX improvements.
• Contribute to frontend architecture, design documents, technical discussions, and implementation plans.
• Explore BFFs and micro-frontends to accelerate delivery and feedback cycles.
• Improve frontend development practices, testing, and code quality.

Requirements

• 3–5+ years of frontend development experience, preferably in a scaling business.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Vue.js, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience building adaptive and responsive websites.
• Experience testing frontend code with frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, or Chai.
• Understanding of frontend workflow and tooling, including Grunt, Gulp, Yeoman, or Yarn.
• Structured problem-solving, clear technical communication, effective prioritisation, and Agile team experience.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of the online travel agency sector.
• Experience with BFFs, micro-frontends, and internal or third-party APIs.
• Degree in a related discipline.
