Enterprise Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States. All applicants must have authorization to work for hirify.global Labs in the US.

Salary: $141,000–$176,000 USD per year, depending on role, level, location, and regional labor costs.

What you will do

• Own the technical execution and continuous improvement of the Workday and ERP ecosystem, ensuring system integrity, data quality, and alignment with business requirements.
• Lead Workday and ERP implementations from requirements extraction and gap analysis through UAT, training materials, and post-go-live support.
• Build and maintain integration code, transformation scripts, API documentation, data pipelines, and custom connectors using AI-augmented development workflows.
• Execute source-to-target migration workstreams, including ETL, legacy data cleansing, normalization, mapping, and validation.
• Develop AI-agentic workflows for compliance monitoring, cross-system reconciliation, and enterprise operations.
• Identify architectural weaknesses and implement measures that improve long-term platform stability.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering, integration development, or ERP/HCM implementation.
• At least two personally executed enterprise-scale HCM or ERP implementations or global system migrations.
• Strong Workday HCM expertise, including the data model, EIBs, Workday Studio or Extend, integration frameworks, and business process configuration.
• Expert SQL skills and proficiency in at least one high-level language such as Python, JavaScript, C#, or Ruby; experience with large datasets, data validation, and referential integrity.
• Hands-on experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, iPaaS platforms, Git, CI/CD, and technical documentation such as ERDs, sequence diagrams, data flow diagrams, and FSDs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related quantitative field; US work authorization required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Tier 1 platforms such as Acumatica, BigQuery, or ServiceNow.
• Advanced use of Cursor, Claude, and Gemini for agentic workflow design, requirements synthesis, test generation, documentation, and delivery process improvements.
