Operations Systems Engineer (AI)

Location: Must be based in or able to work onsite in Torrance, CA

Salary: $135,000 – $160,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Translate requirements from supply chain, manufacturing, and engineering into reliable system workflows and data models.
• Design and implement agentic, AI-enabled workflows to track supplier commitments, material readiness, and nonconformances.
• Administer and configure enterprise operations systems including MES, ERP/MRP, and procurement modules.
• Build practical automations using SQL, Python, and low-code tools to improve execution visibility.
• Develop human-in-the-loop AI workflows for data extraction, follow-ups, and exception escalation.
• Maintain master data hygiene and create integrations between enterprise systems and collaboration tools.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or eligible for ITAR authorization.
• Must be able to work onsite in Torrance, CA.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, math, or physics.
• 3+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, or business systems operations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and enterprise software administration.
• Proficiency in SQL and at least one high-level coding language like Python.

Nice to have

• Experience with software version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Practical understanding of AI-enabled workflows and prompt design.
• Experience with QMS, PLM, or workflow automation platforms.
