What you will do

• Lead people and processes within an assigned IT application management area.
• Plan and execute application maintenance, upgrades, patches, customizations, reporting, and 24/7 on-call support.
• Organize people, processes, and technology to improve application availability, service quality, customer satisfaction, and operational performance.
• Facilitate application requirements definition, design, development, testing, deployment, education, activation, and production support.
• Coordinate with clinical and business leaders, customers, vendors, project managers, infrastructure staff, and other stakeholders.
• Manage personnel, operating and capital budgets, resources, information security, business continuity, and disaster recovery activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Healthcare, Nursing, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of application management, Agile software delivery, SDLC, DevOps concepts, information security, risk management, and cybersecurity impacts.
• Ability to communicate complex technical and nontechnical information, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and work in a fast-paced matrixed environment.
• Ability to develop strategic roadmaps and assess manpower requirements.
• Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement at the Columbus, Ohio campus.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business administration, information systems, computer science, engineering, mathematics, healthcare, nursing, or a related field.
• Experience as a subject matter expert, design thinker, or effective people leader.
• Ability to drive people, process, and technology changes in a highly matrixed environment.
