Chief Technology Officer, Health

Location: Columbia, MD, United States. Hybrid schedule with required on-site work Tuesdays and Thursdays; remote work on other days as business needs allow. Working hours operate within Eastern Time, typically 9:00 AM–5:00 PM.

Salary: $250,000–$300,000 annually.

What you will do

• Define and execute the strategic technical vision for the Health business and its federal healthcare portfolio.
• Lead technology modernization, systems integration, digital transformation, cloud, AI, data, and DevSecOps initiatives.
• Provide executive oversight for delivery excellence, operational performance, customer satisfaction, financial results, and portfolio risk.
• Build relationships with government customers, industry partners, and senior stakeholders across CMS and HHS agencies.
• Partner with Growth on pipeline development, capture strategies, proposals, presentations, and strategic pursuits.
• Lead Chief Solutions Architects and Strategists while coaching senior leaders and developing technology partnerships such as AWS and Databricks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of progressive leadership experience supporting Federal Government customers.
• Experience leading large technology modernization, systems integration, or digital transformation initiatives.
• Experience with business growth, customer engagement, delivery leadership, and financial accountability.
• Strong understanding of cloud technologies, DevSecOps, Agile delivery, data, AI, and emerging technologies.
• Excellent executive communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related technical discipline.
• Experience with FHIR, HL7, X12, CMS interoperability mandates, CMS-0057-F, or TEFCA.
• Experience leading high-growth organizations in the GovCon market.
