Principal Engineering Leader (Salesforce)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, recruit, and develop a high-performing team of Platform Administrators.
• Define and execute Salesforce and enterprise platform strategies, roadmaps, adoption, optimization, and technical debt reduction.
• Own end-to-end delivery, administration, configuration, upgrades, release planning, and operational health for key platforms.
• Establish governance for privileged access, segregation of duties, licenses, permissions, security, data quality, workflows, reports, and dashboards.
• Drive integrations, provide OpenAPI Specifications, collaborate on data modeling, and support functional and non-functional testing.
• Partner with Product Owners and cross-functional teams through Agile ceremonies, solution reviews, architecture forums, and release planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Enterprise/Salesforce Platform Administration or Systems Engineering.
• 5+ years of technical leadership and people management experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce or financial platforms, configuration, upgrades, release cycles, regulated environments, and third-party solutions.
• Experience with Git workflows, pull request reviews, merge conflict resolution, Agile/Scrum, middleware, and cross-platform integration patterns.

Nice to have

• SAFe framework experience.
• Experience with Fiserv, Open Finance Platforms, or other financial platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and VS Code.
