Head of IT Operations (AI)

Location: Must be based in the United States

hirify.global is a telehealth support company streamlining care delivery across all 50 states.

What you will do

• Lead a global team of 10+ resources managing help desk, facility, and asset management.
• Design and oversee infrastructure architecture to ensure 99.5%+ uptime for healthcare SaaS.
• Implement AI/ML tools to improve operational efficiency, predictive alerting, and root-cause analysis.
• Partner with Security to maintain SOC 2 and HIPAA compliance through rigorous audits and access control.
• Establish SLAs/SLOs and lead capacity planning for critical infrastructure.
• Communicate infrastructure health and roadmap to leadership and cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years in IT operations, infrastructure engineering, or site reliability roles.
• 5+ years in a leadership role managing technical teams of 5+ direct reports.
• Proven experience operating mission-critical SaaS or healthcare platforms.
• Deep expertise with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and infrastructure-as-code.
• Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, security baselines, and healthcare regulations.
• Must have the right to work in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience building IT organizations in early-stage or hypergrowth companies.
• Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern DevOps stacks.
• Background in healthcare (EMR/EHR systems, telehealth platforms).
• Experience supporting machine learning or AI infrastructure at scale.
