Computer Science Internship (Cybersecurity)

Location: Chantilly, Virginia, United States; hybrid workplace with a remote internship and possible in-person collaboration with the local team

What you will do

• Support cybersecurity efforts for offensive and defensive missions.
• Create, develop, test, and demonstrate custom software applications.
• Build technology demonstrations using commercial cloud platforms such as AWS and Microsoft Azure.
• Assess new application concepts and research competitor offerings.
• Work with a team to develop an application and present a prototype to company leadership.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a US Government security clearance.
• Be a Computer Science major with an expected graduation date of May 2028.
• Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and demonstrate strong analytical and mathematical skills.
• Be proficient with Microsoft Office and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrate teamwork, leadership, critical thinking, self-management, and a strong work ethic.

Nice to have

• Experience with group programming projects, Agile processes, or Scrum.
• Proficiency in Java and Python.
• Frontend or backend development experience.
• Experience with Node, Git, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Personal software development projects.
