Software Engineering Intern (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hybrid in Durham, North Carolina, or Emeryville, California; office attendance is required at least three days per week.

Salary: $55.00 per hour in Durham or $60.00 per hour in Emeryville.

hirify.global develops an AI-driven, real-time endpoint management and security platform for enterprises and governments.

What you will do

• Build and deliver frontend or backend features for the next release of hirify.global’s B2B security platform.
• Work with software frameworks and develop functionality used by hirify.global customers.
• Collaborate with a senior engineer mentor and meet regularly for technical guidance.
• Complete an independent project and present the finished work to engineering leadership.
• Participate in intern events and collaborate with a cohort of more than 70 interns.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States now and in the future.
• Must be available to work full-time from June 8, 2026, through August 14, 2026.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in computer science or a related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.5 required.
• Expected graduation in Spring 2027 or Fall 2026.
• Experience creating and completing software development projects using backend and/or frontend languages.

Nice to have

• Previous internship experience.
• Interest in learning new technical skills and understanding how software works.
