Ammonia and Refrigeration Tech I-Manufacturing (Starting $33.85, Saturday - Monday, 6pm to 6:30am)

Location: Onsite in Olathe, Kansas, United States. Schedule: Saturday–Monday, 6:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.

Salary: $31.85–$39.85 per hour, with a starting rate of $33.85 and possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Assist with preventive maintenance and repairs on lift trucks, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, electronic, dock, and material-handling equipment.
• Operate refrigeration equipment, including compressors and fan units, and powered material-handling machinery.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex ammonia refrigeration issues using technical drawings, schematics, multimeters, laptops, logic controls, and external I/O devices.
• Follow manufacturer instructions and standard operating procedures when maintaining refrigeration systems.
• Support HazMat activities, monitor work areas for safety concerns, and take corrective action when needed.
• Complete work orders and records while coordinating assignments and supporting continuous improvement with managers, coworkers, customers, and business partners.

Requirements

• One of the following: a trade or vocational degree/certification in industrial maintenance; 1 year of industrial refrigeration experience; 2 years of HVAC experience; 2 years of wastewater treatment plant experience; or 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience with refrigeration systems, valve rebuilds, HVAC, wastewater treatment, or industrial maintenance as applicable to the qualifying option.
• Ability to work onsite in Olathe, Kansas, on the Saturday–Monday overnight schedule.
• Ability to follow safety procedures, technical documentation, company policies, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Nice to have

• RETA Certified Assistant Refrigeration Operator (CARO) certification.
• Willingness and ability to obtain CARO certification within 30 months of joining.
