Location: San Angelo, Texas, United States; onsite at hirify.global Supercenter 07281

Salary: $26.00–$51.00 per hour, plus possible premiums of $0.35–$3.00 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, cleaning, troubleshooting, and repairs on food equipment, facilities, fixtures, and building systems.
• Use plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material-handling, mechanical, hand-tool, power-tool, and testing skills to complete repairs.
• Diagnose equipment issues using blueprints, repair manuals, parts catalogs, and testing procedures; dismantle and replace defective components.
• Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, parts, replacement equipment, purchase records, warranty claims, invoices, and contractor activities.
• Operate, inspect, and maintain vehicles, forklifts, heavy machinery, and powered equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
• Participate in an on-call rotation, respond to emergencies, document repairs, and coordinate with managers, coworkers, customers, and contractors.

Requirements

• Vocational or technical certification plus 2 years of relevant experience, or 4 years of experience in plumbing, electrical, material-handling equipment, or a related area.
• License in a related trade in the city or state where the job is located.
• Valid state-issued driver's license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Commercial driving record with no recent DUI, DWI, or OUI convictions, limited moving violations, and no preventable commercial-vehicle accidents within the specified periods.
• No serious traffic violations under Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations within the specified period.

Nice to have

• Experience with commercial HVAC/R, building controls, mechanical maintenance, or construction.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and office productivity software.
