Staff Applications Engineer (RF)

Location: Westminster, Colorado, United States; on-site. The role may require up to 20% travel to customer facilities and trade shows. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, conditional residents, asylees, refugees, or eligible to obtain the required U.S. Department of State authorizations.

Salary: $158,000–$189,000 per year, plus stock options and benefits.

What you will do

• Guide technical customers through the use and integration of hirify.global products.
• Author technical application notes, user manuals, white papers, diagrams, and other customer documentation.
• Transfer customer feedback to product development teams and help shape the product roadmap.
• Build long-term relationships with technical customers and provide training at customer facilities or remotely.
• Recreate, troubleshoot, and resolve customer-reported electronics and software anomalies.
• Provide technical leadership to the Business Development Team and develop structured product application processes.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of relevant experience in technical product development or application support.
• In-depth knowledge of RF electronics, communication systems, and link budgets.
• Experience with FPGA and embedded software for software-defined radio applications.
• Software proficiency in C/C++ or Python and methodical troubleshooting experience across electronics and software.
• Knowledge of high-speed digital systems, power electronics, DSP, embedded software, and mechanical interfaces.
• Eligibility to work under U.S. Space Technology Export Regulations is required.

Nice to have

• Public technical communication samples such as application notes or user manuals.
• Experience with high-reliability electronics, aerospace, or small satellites.
• Experience in technical product planning, marketing, sales, or customer-focused proposal solutions.
