Hardware Integration & Test Electrical Engineer III (Space Electronics)

Location: Centennial, Colorado, USA. Onsite laboratory role. US citizenship required.

Salary: $100,000–$125,000 per year, depending on qualifications.

What you will do

• Execute engineering activities to produce, test, and deliver spacecraft electronics.
• Coordinate product integration, characterization, and testing in a laboratory environment.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and test conductor, with potential technical leadership during production.
• Troubleshoot complex electronics from component level through system functionality using standard laboratory equipment.
• Review and clarify production travelers and test procedures, and read or edit software test scripts.
• Analyze production metrics and lead improvements to production yield and test flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years of experience, or equivalent.
• Experience producing and testing electronics, especially digital circuits, processors, FPGAs, and power supplies.
• Ability to read digital and analog schematics and use bench supplies, oscilloscopes, and logic analyzers for laboratory debugging.
• Required familiarity with quality control, configuration management, and root cause analysis methods.
• Experience with schematic, bill of materials, ERP, work order, assembly traveler, spreadsheet, and laboratory test-data tools.
• US citizenship required.

Nice to have

• Digital or analog design experience, including test plans, test results, functional descriptions, schematics, and assembly instructions.
• Experience implementing engineering changes to schematics, bills of materials, and related documentation.
• Spacecraft hardware and electronics assembly and testing experience.
• Proficiency with C++ and a scripting language such as Lua or Python.
