Junior Java Fullstack Developer (Vue)

Location: On-site in Sydney, NSW, Australia; Australian citizens residing in Australia only.

What you will do

• Design, implement, and reverse-engineer Java-based applications.
• Develop full-stack features across front-end and back-end systems.
• Build authenticated and unauthenticated user flows, including services similar to MyGov and VANguard FAS.
• Analyse user requirements and stories, then deliver minimal-defect solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on solution design and delivery.
• Write JUnit tests, technical documentation, and support CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java/J2EE/JEE, Vue, JavaScript, PrimeFaces, SOAP, XML, EJB 3, JPA, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with IntelliJ, Maven, Azure DevOps, relational databases, and SQL.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile development practices.
• Ability to analyse requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Australian citizenship and residence in Australia are required.

Nice to have

• Relevant Java certifications or qualifications.
• Familiarity with UX/UI standards and practices.
