Software Engineer 1 (Python, C++, RF)

Salary: $147,000–$180,000 annually

What you will do

• Analyze user requirements and derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design, develop, modify, debug, and integrate complex software systems.
• Develop algorithms, database queries, repository interfaces, and real-time processing solutions.
• Review software components, execute tests, document results, and resolve software problem reports.
• Contribute to system design decisions, software reuse, COTS/GOTS evaluation, and development standards.
• Collaborate with users and system engineers to analyze system performance, data usage, and workflows.

Requirements

• TS/SCI clearance with polygraph required.
• Python, C++, basic RF experience or knowledge, and Git.
• Seven years of software engineering experience on programs or contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or four additional years of relevant software engineering experience in lieu of the degree.
• Ability to work on-site in Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Nice to have

• CI/CD, Kubernetes, Docker, Make, Buildx, and Web development.
• Vue, React, REST, Node, Vuetify, Leaflet, WebSocket, gRPC, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
