Senior/SME Web Developer

Salary: $112,000–$206,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure web applications and content management solutions for marine, aviation, and unmanned systems.
• Translate customer and user requirements into scalable technical solutions in collaboration with analysts, designers, and technical teams.
• Build responsive, accessible, user-focused interfaces and content-rich web experiences using modern UI/UX principles.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, web services, database integrations, and enterprise applications across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, performance optimization, analytics, release management, and technical documentation.
• Support cybersecurity, accessibility, modernization, and cloud migration initiatives while mentoring junior developers and providing technical leadership.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible experience developing and maintaining enterprise web applications; 10+ years is preferred.
• Experience developing secure web applications in Windows, Linux, and cloud environments.
• Strong front-end and back-end web development experience, including responsive application development and UI/UX design.
• Experience integrating APIs, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, design, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting marine, aviation, or related operational environments.
• Certifications such as AWS Developer, Azure Developer, Scrum, Security+, GWAPT, or CSSLP.
• Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD, cloud application development, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, and Jira.
