Senior Fullstack Software Engineer (Aerospace)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States

Salary: $215,000–$300,000 annually, plus equity and stock options

What you will do

• Develop internal applications, infrastructure, and tools supporting aircraft engineering, analysis, and certification.
• Build systems for capturing product requirements and interface definitions and modeling product architecture and design.
• Develop tools to reduce and analyze flight and laboratory test data.
• Define technical and user experience requirements with product owners, end users, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Own the full lifecycle of applications and services, including planning, coding, building, testing, releasing, and deployment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of professional fullstack web development experience in a team environment.
• Professional experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
• Experience structuring dynamic, model-driven data and determining data relationships.
• Experience with SQL, NoSQL, and time series databases.
• Experience designing software architecture for new and existing projects.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, pandas, matplotlib, and Django.
• Experience with AWS, Terraform, and Docker.
• Experience designing high-throughput ingestion pipelines for real-time telemetry.
• Experience integrating Tableau, Power BI, Superset, or Metabase.
• Experience developing React components and reusable libraries or tools for developers.
