Full Stack Developer (Python/JavaScript)

Location: McLean, Virginia, United States; onsite full time at a customer site

Salary: $155,000–$215,000 per year

What you will do

• Translate customer needs into documented application requirements and align scope with the product manager.
• Design and implement frontend and backend features for a web application that ingests, archives, retrieves, and disseminates data.
• Develop backend databases and support data ingest, storage, and retrieval workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers, UI/UX specialists, product managers, and mission users to build effective interfaces and application architecture.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, test and validate features, and demonstrate completed deliverables at the end of each sprint.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript, Hono.js, Python, FastAPI, TypeScript, Vue.js, and Tailwind CSS.
• Experience with DevOps infrastructure, including CDKTF/Terraform, relational database design, and SQL query workflows.
• Active/current TS/SCI security clearance with required polygraph.
• Willingness to work onsite full time in McLean, Virginia.

Nice to have

• Experience building chat interfaces and integrating LLMs through APIs.
• Experience with Docker or Podman containers for development.
• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Familiarity with Git for source control.
