TL;DR
Expert IT Specialist (.NET): Designing and delivering enterprise Microsoft .NET applications for New York State Liquor Authority payment and portal modernization initiatives with an accent on solution architecture, secure integrations, and scalable web development. Focus on leading technical teams, building RESTful APIs and microservices, optimizing SQL Server data access, and mentoring developers through Agile delivery.
Location: Albany, NY, US; hybrid/onsite as required

What you will do
- Lead software development teams through the full software development lifecycle.
- Design scalable enterprise architectures and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain Microsoft .NET applications supporting online payments, portal modernization, and business operations.
- Build RESTful APIs, WebAPI 2 services, microservices, integrations, and responsive web applications.
- Design data models, workflows, reusable libraries, UI components, and JSON-to-XML mapping services.
- Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, support releases, and create technical documentation and architectural diagrams.
Requirements
- Minimum 84 months (7 years) of professional IT experience.
- Experience leading large technical teams and complex enterprise software projects.
- Expert experience with Microsoft .NET, ASP.NET Core MVC, C#, Entity Framework Core, Vue.js, Angular, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Experience with SQL Server, complex queries, stored procedures, views, LINQ, and database performance optimization.
- Experience designing enterprise applications, REST and SOAP integrations, WebAPI 2 services, and scalable microservices.
- Experience working in Agile environments with SOLID principles, code reviews, version control, and release management.
