Senior .NET Developer (DoD)

Location: Maryland, United States; hybrid work with mostly remote work and occasional or as-needed office attendance

Salary: $90,220–$145,000 annually

What you will do

• Analyze software requirements and contribute to application architecture, design, development, and maintenance.
• Develop Microsoft Windows software and user interfaces using C# and .NET.
• Perform system modeling, simulation, unit testing, system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting.
• Take ownership of assigned applications and progress toward serving as a technical Subject Matter Expert.
• Provide technical analysis, recommendations, documentation, and presentations to development teams and customers.
• Collaborate with developers, government customers, and end users throughout the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• Active Secret Security Clearance required.
• U.S. citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10–12 years of software engineering or development experience in a DoD environment.
• Strong C# and .NET experience, including Microsoft Windows application development.
• Experience with software requirements analysis, design, development, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and clear technical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with C++, .NET Framework, WinForms, WPF, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, Angular, or React.
• Experience with NUnit, xUnit, or MSTest automated unit testing frameworks.
• Experience with Git, Azure DevOps, systems modeling, simulation, or software architecture reviews.
• Experience supporting military aviation, mission planning, defense, or other mission-critical DoD applications.
• Experience collaborating directly with government customers and end users.
