TL;DR
.NET Application Developer (.NET/C#): Building and supporting database-driven applications, RESTful APIs, services, integrations, and backend components with an accent on SQL Server development, object-oriented design, and software engineering practices. Focus on optimizing queries and transactions, resolving complex issues across application and runtime environments, and collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Location: Irving, Texas, United States; hybrid with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
Salary: $58–$60 per hour

What you will do
- Consult on and contribute to moderately complex software engineering initiatives and deliverables.
- Analyze software engineering challenges and contribute to large-scale planning.
- Develop and support database-driven .NET applications, RESTful APIs, services, batch processes, integrations, and backend components.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across application code, database logic, and runtime environments.
- Collaborate with client personnel and explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience or equivalent experience, training, military experience, or education.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience with strong hands-on C# and .NET application development.
- Experience designing database-driven applications with SQL Server or comparable relational databases.
- Knowledge of stored procedures, functions, indexing, query optimization, transactions, and data modeling.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and software development lifecycle practices.
- Experience with Git, branching, pull requests, and code reviews, plus strong written and verbal communication skills.
