TL;DR
IT Leader (PHP/Laravel, Vue, AI): Leading enterprise technology strategy and hands-on development of custom applications integrated with Salesforce and ERP systems, with an accent on operational efficiency, cross-departmental collaboration, and AI-driven automation. Focus on managing cloud infrastructure and technology budgets, optimizing business systems, and mentoring developers, administrators, and helpdesk personnel while driving strategic growth initiatives.

What you will do
- Shape technology strategy and lead daily improvements across departments.
- Design and develop custom applications with PHP, Laravel, TypeScript, and Vue 3, integrating them with Salesforce.
- Customize and optimize Salesforce and ERP systems to improve workflows and business performance.
- Lead AI-driven development initiatives, including custom agents and the use of Claude and other development tools.
- Own the company-wide technology and infrastructure budget and manage external vendors.
- Lead and mentor developers, system administrators, and helpdesk personnel while driving enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
Requirements
- Experienced technology leadership background with strong hands-on development skills.
- Professional experience developing web applications with PHP, Java, C#, and/or Python and modern frameworks.
- Experience managing and optimizing AWS and/or Azure environments for availability, scalability, and security.
- Ability to translate operational challenges into practical software solutions and coordinate cross-functional projects, timelines, and budgets.
- Strong stakeholder communication, collaborative leadership, mentoring, and continuous-improvement skills.
- Must work onsite in Traverse City, Michigan; this is not a remote or hybrid role.

- Experience with Salesforce, ERP optimization, Laravel, Vue 3, and AI-assisted software development.
