Mission Lead (AI)

Location: Must be based in Tampa, Florida, United States, with about 75% of time onsite and periodic travel. Work may take place in secure or classified environments.

What you will do

• Embed with Department of War customer groups and develop a deep understanding of their missions.
• Build trust with users in operational environments and help solve their problems over time.
• Break ambiguous mission problems into testable hypotheses and product workflows.
• Configure workflows, test and troubleshoot releases, and coordinate issue resolution with product and engineering.
• Onboard users, generate mission wins, and translate results into evidence of product impact.
• Develop new user groups, represent Vannevar with customers, and operate independently onsite.

Requirements

• Current Top Secret clearance and U.S. Persons status required.
• Must be based in Tampa, Florida, with approximately 75% onsite work in the Tampa region.
• Ability to build trust with users in operational and high-stakes government environments.
• High ownership, persistence, strong mission judgment, and the ability to work independently through ambiguity.
• Technical intuition for understanding, troubleshooting, and improving software systems.
• Curiosity about agentic AI and its application to mission outcomes.
