Senior Full Stack Engineer (AI) (Azure/Docker/Kubernetes/Kafka): Building and scaling robust web applications, backend APIs, cloud infrastructure, and event-driven systems with an accent on full-stack development, distributed systems, and product ownership. Personal Programmer is a Macedonian nearshoring company helping local developers work with international technology companies, including Iprova, an AI-enabled software and physical science innovation company.
What you will do
- Design and implement robust, scalable web applications and backend systems.
- Develop and optimize APIs and cloud-based infrastructure on Azure.
- Design and maintain containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement event-driven architectures with Kafka or similar technologies.
- Work with Redis, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, and PostgreSQL.
- Contribute to UI/UX and product ownership across cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of Kafka, event streaming, and messaging queues.
- Expertise with Redis, Elasticsearch, Neo4j, and PostgreSQL.
- Experience developing APIs with Django, FastAPI, Flask, Express, or a similar backend framework, plus commercial frontend development experience with a web framework such as Vue.js.
- Comfort working with Unix systems, strong problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset.
