Senior Manager Regional Transportation (MedTech)

What you will do

• Own end-to-end EMEA inbound freight transportation across manufacturing sites, hubs, affiliates, distributor distribution centers, and approved inter-affiliate flows.
• Lead transportation operations, escalation management, service recovery, capacity planning, and business continuity for peak periods, launches, and disruptions.
• Manage regional transportation budgets, forecasts, accruals, cost-improvement programs, freight audit, payment processes, and spend visibility.
• Govern carrier, freight forwarder, broker, Control Tower, and logistics-provider performance, including reviews, tenders, rate governance, and corrective action plans.
• Integrate transportation requirements into IBP, network strategy, NPI, acquisitions, divestitures, direct-ship programs, flow redesign, and new transport capabilities.
• Advance TMS, Control Tower, analytics, reporting automation, compliance, sustainability, and team capability across the transportation function.

Requirements

• At least 8 years of related experience and a university degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Fluent English required; additional European languages are a plus.
• Experience with end-to-end supply chain interfaces across Make, Plan, Source, Deliver, Quality, Trade Compliance, and Finance.
• Knowledge of GDP, quality systems, CAPA/NC processes, SOP governance, and transport compliance requirements.
• Experience with NPI, acquisitions or divestitures, network changes, transportation modalities, launch readiness, or business continuity planning.
• Strong stakeholder leadership, structured problem solving, project management, data analysis, and process-standardization capabilities.

Nice to have

• Additional European language skills.
• Experience with TMS, Control Tower, freight audit, and transportation spend-visibility solutions.
• Experience with cold chain, white-glove service, robotics, direct distribution, or emerging transport modalities.
