Sourcing Manager Packaging for EMEA Region

What you will do

• Develop and implement packaging sourcing strategies across the EMEA region.
• Lead RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, bid analysis, and supplier selection processes.
• Build strategic relationships with packaging suppliers and manage supplier performance.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and oversee the contract lifecycle.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities through market and spend analysis.
• Partner with manufacturing, supply chain, finance, and procurement stakeholders to deliver innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, procurement, operations, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sourcing, procurement, commercial, or operations roles within a multinational environment.
• 3+ years of experience managing packaging categories or related category management responsibilities.
• Knowledge of packaging materials, manufacturing processes, and packaging supply markets.
• Experience managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and contracts.
• Professional proficiency in English and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Nice to have

• Experience in agriculture, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, or a related industry.
• MBA or procurement certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, CSCP, or CPM.
• Sustainability knowledge, consulting experience, or additional language skills.
