Junior Production Planner (Supply Chain & Logistics)

Location: Groot-Bijgaarden, Belgium; onsite at a production facility.

International Belgian food manufacturing business developing, producing, and distributing ingredients for the bakery, patisserie, and chocolate sectors.

What you will do

• Build and maintain weekly and daily production plans for assigned production lines.
• Analyze orders, raw material availability, and capacity constraints to create feasible schedules.
• Monitor and adjust plans to manage changing priorities, disruptions, delays, and backorders.
• Coordinate production, customer service, procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Maintain planning data and systems, including ERP, APO, and MES, and follow up on master data quality.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and drive operational excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field.
• Initial experience in production planning, supply chain, or a related role is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into clear actions.
• Confident stakeholder communication, ownership, adaptability, and resilience under pressure.
• Good knowledge of Excel and familiarity with ERP or planning systems.
• Fluent English and good working knowledge of Dutch and French required.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP APO or a similar production planning system.
