Production Manager (Smart Power)

Location: Hybrid role based in Quartino, Ticino, Switzerland

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional coordination across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, Maintenance, R&D/PM, and HR.
• Coach and develop Integrated Production Unit leaders while improving collaboration, problem-solving, and team engagement.
• Structure and execute a production ramp-up plan to triple actual volume within 12 months.
• Coordinate manufacturing transformation initiatives covering supply chain, production staffing, office functions, and test infrastructure.
• Remove execution barriers, resolve escalations, standardize best practices, and improve operational stability and value-stream efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering.
• 10+ years of progressive experience as an Operations Manager or in a similar planning and fulfillment role.
• Experience implementing rapid production ramp-ups and managing governance across planning, procurement, quality, production, and engineering.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end operations, supply chain bottlenecks, capacity planning, order execution, and risk mitigation.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects, quality assurance initiatives, and data-driven operational improvements.
• Fluent Italian, written and spoken, is required.
