Maintenance Tech II

What you will do

• Set up, adjust, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain conveyors, automation, robotics, and ancillary production equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and record issues, repairs, operating logs, and corrective actions in CMMS and ticketing systems.
• Diagnose equipment malfunctions and production delays, analyze spoilage causes, and verify that corrective actions resolve problems.
• Mentor maintenance personnel, support junior engineers, and provide guidance on equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Complete facility and building projects, including repairs, renovations, inventory management, contractor oversight, and efficiency improvements.
• Operate and certify on industrial lift equipment and assist with maintenance work requiring two people.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least five years of experience repairing and maintaining forklifts, conveyors, and general equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting complex equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot inputs, outputs, and PLC logic systems; basic proficiency with computer software including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to follow Lockout/Tagout, Arc Flash, PPE, and other safety procedures.
• Ability to work on-site for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 75 pounds occasionally, work at heights, and remain available for overtime and on-call requests.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC, or an equivalent field.
• Apprenticeship completion or current trade certification.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% for business purposes.
