Software Development Manager (Incident Management)

Location: On-site in Irvine, California, United States

Salary: $184,900–$250,200 annually, plus sign-on payments and restricted stock units.

What you will do

• Manage software engineers building incident management applications for workflow optimization and decision support.
• Set the technical vision and roadmap for the Incident Management Tools team.
• Drive development and delivery of scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Work with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate customer needs into engineering solutions.
• Analyze post-incident events, refine operational metrics, and improve remediation of customer-impacting issues.
• Represent the team to senior leadership and promote operational excellence across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience as a software engineer, software developer, or in a related role.
• Experience leading the successful delivery of complex software or computing infrastructure.
• Experience communicating with stakeholders and leadership or managing teams.
• Strong skills in web programming technologies such as TypeScript, Java, and Vue.
• Knowledge of software architecture, design patterns, and agile development methodologies.

Nice to have

• Experience in incident management, crisis management, security operations, threat management, corporate investigations, or related fields.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with workflow tooling and web development.
