Junior Java Fullstack Developer

Location: On-site in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia; Australian citizens residing in Australia only

What you will do

• Develop Java-based full-stack applications across front-end and back-end layers.
• Design, implement, and reverse-engineer applications using Java/J2EE/JEE and Vue.js.
• Build authenticated and unauthenticated user flows, including applications such as MyGov and VANguard FAS.
• Analyse user requirements and stories and deliver minimal-defect solutions.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders on co-design and delivery.
• Write JUnit tests, technical documentation, and support CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements

• Australian citizenship and residence in Australia are required.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE/JEE, Vue.js, PrimeFaces, JavaScript, SOAP, XML, EJB 3, JPA, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with IntelliJ, Maven, Azure DevOps, relational databases, and SQL.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile development practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively, adapt to dynamic environments, and work collaboratively with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Relevant Java certifications or qualifications.
• Familiarity with UX/UI standards and practices.
