What you will do
- Manage design delivery for allocated work packages covering architecture, structural steelwork, temporary works, civil engineering, and related infrastructure disciplines.
- Establish project plans, monitor programmes and budgets, manage resources, and report on project progress.
- Coordinate designers, construction, procurement, contract partners, clients, stakeholders, and UK and overseas multidisciplinary teams.
- Progress projects through preliminary and detailed design while delivering value-for-money, innovative, and technically compliant solutions.
- Apply project controls, risk assessment, HAZOP analysis, environmental procedures, and health and safety requirements, including CDM Regulations.
- Supervise APMs, graduates, and apprentices and support tender preparation, contract preparation, procurement, and construction delivery.
Requirements
- Degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure projects.
- Experience managing design delivery programmes and budgets.
- Broad design engineering experience, including architecture, civil, or structural engineering packages.
- Good understanding of CDM Regulations and experience with NEC3 contracts.
- Excellent communication skills, professional institution membership, and working experience with ProjectWise and Bentley Systems.
