Maintenance Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: West Hazleton, Pennsylvania, USA; onsite maintenance leadership role

What you will do

• Lead the maintenance department’s financial performance, reliability, budgets, capital investments, parts room optimization, downtime, and damages.
• Develop Team Leaders and Associates through onboarding, training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Set departmental priorities and lead problem-solving efforts to improve people, reliability, quality, safety, service, and cost KPIs.
• Partner with bakery, business unit, and cross-functional leadership to implement profit-driving strategies and Operations Excellence programs.
• Promote safe operations, regulatory compliance, product quality, production schedules, and shipment requirements.
• Drive lean tools, process improvement, operational discipline, and sustainable change across manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• At least five years of hands-on maintenance management experience.
• High school diploma or GED required; a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
• Operational experience with electrical circuitry, refrigeration, fuel-burning equipment, and machine mechanics.
• Conceptual knowledge of PLC programming and predictive maintenance techniques; PLC programming proficiency is preferred.
• Familiarity with lean tools or a similar statistical process and control system.
• Ability to travel approximately 10–15% for meetings, Factory Acceptance Testing, benchmarking, and related activities.
