Forward Deployed Engineer (Python/AI)

Location: Remote from the UK, with occasional travel to client sites across Europe. Travel is typically around three days every couple of months, depending on project requirements.

Salary: £70,000–£90,000 per annum

What you will do

• Build core engineering capabilities for an Agentic AI platform.
• Work across the full platform lifecycle, from development through deployment.
• Deploy and implement platform solutions directly in customer environments.
• Collaborate directly with clients on technically demanding implementation projects.

Requirements

• Strong commercial Python experience.
• Experience with cloud platforms and Kubernetes.
• Strong platform and infrastructure understanding.
• Confidence working directly with clients and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-moving, technically demanding environment.

Nice to have

• FastAPI experience.
• Experience with AI coding tools such as Claude or Copilot.
