Joules Womenswear Junior Designer (Outerwear & Tailoring)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global Head Office, The Barn, Market Harborough, Leicestershire, United Kingdom. Full-time hours are typically 9:00–17:00, Monday to Friday.

What you will do

• Support the product-area vision and propose new outerwear and tailoring concepts.
• Create mood boards covering design influences, looks, colours, and overall departmental direction.
• Identify commercial opportunities and present proposals to the line manager and product teams.
• Collaborate with Buying, Technology, suppliers, Print teams, and Pattern Cutters to develop prototypes that meet required standards.
• Evaluate suppliers and production methods, and support the creation of design prototypes.
• Review design impact through contact with stores and product teams and use feedback to inform future proposals.

Requirements

• Interest in fashion and retail, with a clear understanding of lifestyle brands.
• Experience in a similar role within a lifestyle brand is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and PLM, with experience creating BOMs, design packs, and technical drawings.
• Experience with sample management, swatch logging, administrative archiving, and integrated work with Print teams and Pattern Cutters.
• Strong communication, organisation, time management, commercial awareness, and stakeholder liaison skills.
• Must demonstrate the right to work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
