Focus on improving close processes, coordinating statutory audits and tax reporting, and building controls and systems for international expansion.

What you will do
- Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes for UK and EMEA entities.
- Prepare and review EMEA management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet analysis, variance commentary, and performance reporting.
- Coordinate UK and applicable EMEA statutory reporting, audits, accounting partners, and supporting financial records.
- Oversee UK VAT returns and applicable regional indirect tax reporting in partnership with Tax teams and external advisors.
- Develop accounting policies, procedures, documentation, internal controls, and scalable processes for new markets.
- Partner with Global Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Accounts Payable, Retail, Operations, and regional leadership while supporting the development of the EMEA Finance Team.
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant or equivalent qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA, with 5+ years of post-qualified experience.
- Strong knowledge of UK accounting, statutory reporting, audit requirements, VAT, and financial controls.
- Experience managing complex month-end and year-end close processes, balance sheet reconciliations, intercompany accounting, and accruals.
- Experience working across multiple legal entities and international markets.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP and financial reporting systems; NetSuite experience is advantageous.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, hands-on, collaborative, and able to independently identify and resolve issues.
Nice to have
- Experience in retail, fashion, consumer products, or e-commerce.
- Experience implementing or improving accounts payable, bill-pay, or broader finance processes.
- NetSuite experience.
