Finance Assistant (Payroll Analysis)

What you will do

• Own payroll analysis processes across Fuel and Central Cost Finance.
• Control and reconcile payroll-related balance sheet accounts and align payrolls with the centralised process.
• Develop improved finance workflows to increase reporting efficiency and quality.
• Support budgeting, headcount reviews, organisational planning, and salary cost analysis.
• Prepare year-end audit information and provide insight to finance stakeholders.
• Support and mentor a trainee management accountant and contribute to senior finance projects.

Requirements

• AAT qualified, part-qualified, or currently studying towards AAT is desirable.
• Experience in a finance-related role.
• Strong Excel and financial modelling skills, preferably at an advanced level.
• Experience preparing and transforming data from large datasets.
• Strong communication, commercial awareness, attention to detail, and prioritisation skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial business is desirable.
