Finance Manager - Financial Planning & Analysis

Location: Dundee, United Kingdom — hybrid, with 3 days in the office

What you will do

• Lead annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting cycles.
• Analyze operating expenses, including labor and headcount reporting and forecasting.
• Provide financial analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Partner with senior leadership to deliver clear, actionable financial insights.
• Develop financial models, reporting frameworks, and continuous improvements to FP&A processes and systems.
• Lead and develop FP&A team members while ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely reporting.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or a related finance role.
• Experience leading and developing a team.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with planning tools or systems is advantageous.
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines and communicate financial information to senior management.
• Professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent is preferred.
