Product Owner/Business Analyst (AI, Deep Tech, Robotics)

What you will do

• Create and drive product or component roadmaps with research, business, and engineering stakeholders.
• Define user flows and improve customer experience in collaboration with UX design.
• Facilitate sprint planning and align engineering priorities, constraints, and delivery timelines.
• Write business requirements and user stories with market context, business rationale, KPIs, and acceptance criteria.
• Own the backlog and guide features from idea and prototyping through development, testing, and release.
• Maintain software documentation and oversee the quality of Scrum team deliverables.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Business Analyst in deep-tech products.
• Understanding of AI or robotics applications; experience with technical products is expected.
• Fluent written and verbal English.
• Ability to identify business problems, drive solutions, and measure impact through KPIs and metrics.
• Experience with product lifecycle management and Agile practices, including epics, user stories, prioritization, and backlog grooming.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and relationship-management skills for cross-functional international teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in robotics, manufacturing, artificial intelligence, or developer APIs.
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or a comparable technical background.
• Product Owner certification.
• Proficiency in Japanese at JLPT N2 level or above.
