Senior Fullstack Engineer (React/Java)

Location: Vietnam; remote. Working hours require availability for US clients from 8–11 PM or 9 PM–12 AM VNT for 3 hours per day, with the remaining 5 hours flexible.

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership across the design, integration, implementation, and transition of enterprise SaaS human services systems.
• Design configurable data creation, integrations, workflows, notifications, and data persistence.
• Specify, develop, and troubleshoot API integrations across multiple systems.
• Build platform functionality using React, Java, GraphQL, microservices, and cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, partners, product managers, designers, architects, and software engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers, participate in code reviews, and maintain high standards for security, testing, reuse, and code quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience and experience leading major IT application implementations.
• Deep production experience with React and TypeScript, plus proficiency in Java for multi-tier web applications.
• Experience building and consuming GraphQL APIs, including schema design and client integration.
• Experience with microservices, OpenAPI, REST APIs, SQL, NoSQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch, S3, Redshift, Kafka, Lambda, and EMR.
• Knowledge of AWS or cloud deployment and scaling, IT security architecture, Agile, Git, testing methodologies, TDD, and CI/CD.
• Strong English communication skills and availability during the specified VNT hours are required.
