Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Hybrid, Seattle)

Location: Hybrid in Seattle, Washington; onsite at the hirify.global Seattle office at least 4 days per week

Salary: $142,000–$220,500 annual

hirify.global is a large retail company whose product data systems support customer-facing shopping experiences and business operations.

What you will do

• Build and evolve Java microservices powering product information management and the Product Core Service.
• Integrate services with Kafka-based ingestion pipelines, Temporal workflows, and downstream business systems.
• Develop React and TypeScript internal tools for merchants, buyers, and data stewards.
• Build validation, canonicalization, and entity-resolution capabilities for product data across wholesale, marketplace, and direct-to-consumer channels.
• Operate services through on-call rotations, observability, runbooks, alerting, and incident response.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, design reviews, and engineering mentorship.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience delivering backend services and frontend applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, or Data Engineering.
• Strong experience with Java microservices, Spring Boot, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, and Kafka.
• Production experience with React and TypeScript, with attention to usability and accessibility.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to reason about distributed systems, eventual consistency, failure modes, idempotency, schema evolution, and data partitioning.

Nice to have

• Experience with Temporal workflow orchestration.
• Experience with DynamoDB, Redis, Next.js, AWS services, Avro schemas, and distributed tracing.
• Experience with agentic development and using software agents throughout the development lifecycle.
