Senior Java Fullstack Engineer

Location: Schlieren, Switzerland; hybrid work with regular customer visits 2–3 times per week

What you will do

• Design and implement customer-specific web and enterprise applications using modern agile methods.
• Collaborate with customers to understand business needs and translate requirements into high-quality software.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with development teams using pair programming and mob programming.
• Support the complete software lifecycle from ideation through production with a DevOps mindset.
• Automate quality checks using test-driven development and specification by example.
• Coach team members, share technical knowledge, and help the team grow.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• More than two years of proven experience as a Java Developer with strong object-oriented programming knowledge and software engineering best practices.
• Full-stack experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Experience with Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate, databases, RESTful APIs, messaging, container orchestration, microservices, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience working in agile development teams.
• Fluent German and English at least at C1 level are required.
