Network & Systems Security Analyst (Cisco/VMware)

Location: On-site Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM in Tampa, Florida, United States

Salary: $60 per hour

What you will do

• Plan, design, and implement network, server, and storage infrastructure based on project and capacity requirements.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve server and network failures using OSI-based troubleshooting.
• Install and configure secure server and network hardware and software.
• Support small project design and planning, including consulting and project leadership.
• Escalate equipment issues, coordinate repairs, and cross-train or mentor Level 1 analysts and peers.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience with Windows servers, VMware, firewalls, storage area networks, and Cisco networking.
• Experience supporting switching, routing, DNS/DHCP, Windows Active Directory, hardware installation, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Intermediate knowledge of network or server infrastructure and the ability to support existing environments.
• At least one associate-level and one senior-level professional certification.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or hold U.S. permanent residence; no other visas are accepted.
• A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or an equivalent IT discipline is preferred.

Nice to have

• CCNA, VCP, CISSP, or MCSA certification.
