IT Security Analyst

Location: Onsite at either the Dallas, Texas or Huntington Beach, California office

Salary: $110,000–$130,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform risk assessments, security analysis, and vulnerability remediation planning for systems and networks.
• Deploy, integrate, configure, maintain, and document security solutions and network changes.
• Administer physical and virtual servers, including Linux and VMware ESX/vSphere environments.
• Secure and audit Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Develop incident response procedures and support business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
• Evaluate and improve internal PCO and SOX security frameworks.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in information technology security or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of security monitoring tools, including UTM, IPS, IDS, and other security appliances.
• Strong knowledge of network security and design, including TCP/IP, firewalls, IPS/IDS, and routers.
• Experience with server administration, Microsoft Active Directory, Linux, and VMware ESX/vSphere.
• Ability to work outside normal business hours when required and operate independently with minimal supervision.
• Problem-solving, project management, organizational, prioritization, and interpersonal skills.

Nice to have

• CISSP or SANS GIA certification.
• Knowledge of WAN, MPLS, and VoIP technologies.
