Location: 12-month training in Leicester, followed by permanent placement in Doncaster or Elmsall, UK. Relocation support is available for both moves.

What you will do

• Complete structured classroom training and practical projects covering mainframe development fundamentals.
• Progress toward a Mainframe Developer role through analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and application support.
• Translate business requirements into code and develop applications for ecommerce, finance, stock, pricing, and warehouse functions.
• Use AI tools to supplement analytical and programming work.
• Work with technology departments to resolve issues and support project delivery during peak periods and key events.

• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
• Availability for mandatory classroom training in Leicester for the first 12 months and subsequent placement in Doncaster or Elmsall.

Hiring process
